Inspired By Villabarnes

I have to shout out to Rosemary from Villbarnes. She is crazy creative and has an imagination that is out of this world. ...putting good use to things others might consider rubbish...ok so I just got back from Ireland and I just love that word, rubbish....especially in my fake British accent. 

So here is my little black sewing bench that had I not stumbled on Rosemary's blog, would have painstakingly stripped. Instead, I mixed some white oops w/ gesso. Why I had a little bottle of gesso laying around is anyones guess. But I did and that's all that really matters.

I made some stripes by using painters tape and added my favorite stencil to some burlap.

Painted then heavily distressed.
